Day 37

Getting back to blogging.  I've been away for several reasons the past week.  But I'm hoping to get back into the groove of blogging again.  I have started, stopped, and erased several potential blogs today.

I've decided that the "thoughtful" ones I was working on are deeper than I can intelligently write about right now.

So, here's some news.  We're considering letting Chandler play football.  He's doing well in school and seems to really be interested in this.  He won't know if it's more than an interest if we don't let him try.  We'll probably make a final decision this weekend and as usual, put all kinds of stipulations on his playing if we do say yes.

Nicky is doing well.  She is going to have to see an oral surgeon to remove wisdom teeth that have come in sideways.

I'm still trying to let go and let God.  :)  Sometimes that easier said than done.

If you're looking for good reads - I recommend looking at the New Testament from Paul's perspective.  I'm considering doing that.  Taking a deeper look at where he was, what was going on chronologically.  What historically happened before and after the different letters that he wrote.  Just a thought.

I'm going to close in prayer today - God, help me to see you in your Full Glory.  Help me to show others who you are by having your spirit live in me and through me.  Guide my steps and direct my paths.  Protect my children, as they are getting older and out of reach of my protection.  I rest in peace knowing that I was never really their protector or provider, but it's you and I pray that they will seek you first in all your ways.
