Royal Rangers

I've got to say, over the years, I've not been the biggest supporter of Royal Rangers.  -Jealous, admittedly of the cool things that they got to do and that girls were not allowed.-

However, seeing the benefit to my son's life.  He's read the Bible through at least once now and keeps reading! :)  He's gained so much skills and life knowledge and leadership opportunities from this program.  I see and understand now, the impact the ministry has had on my husband and by default, my life.

I'm honored to have a Christian husband-mostly because of his participation in Rangers.  I know other Pastors/Lay leaders and ministry minded Christians and men that I've met that are part of this program because they care about making a difference in the life of boys -future men- they know the importance because of others who took time to pour into their life.   I've seen these men pray for the boys, for other ministries, for pastors, for families.  I've watched grown men sit and be emotional about the spiritual experience that they shared with a group of other men/boys.

And, I finally get to participate-sort of!-SmileI'm honored to get to be a part of the program as a Ranger Kid commander! :)  You heard right, scary-huh?

It's hard figuring out what it means to be a man, and a man of God, even as an adult. It's beyond awesome that your son has had the opportunity to be impacted like he has.
