Before Email

There's an older gentleman that comes into my office once in a while. He brings me a hard copy of a story he's read and really likes. It's usually similar or identical to an email that's been forwarded to me 100 times. Today he left me small business cards with a psalms printed on them.

I mean no disrespect to him, but while he was there, I honestly thought to myself..."this is what they did before email."

I can't imagine being the person comfortable enough to walk into churches/offices and hand people something like that. This man I believe is very genuine. He is sincere in wanting to bless someone or encourage others to bless someone.

That's funny because I know a few older people who do that as well. You're right that this was how it used to be before email, Facebook, and the like. I wonder if I would have been like one of those older folks had I been born fifty years earlier.
