God directed

Sometimes we don't get the answer to prayers, or things in life the way we expect them. Actually, for me that's most of the time. So this week when I had a situation arise that was very disappointing, especially because I knew that God-the Great Almighty could have changed the outcome, I didn't understand why He didn't.

I'm not going to admit to understanding now. I won't even say that things changed, because the situation is exactly the same. But I guess it's kind of like a puzzle I had a HUGE part of it done, but some of the pieces weren't fitting perfectly. After taking them out rearranging them, wha la.

Today, God took some pieces out and rearranged them. I had a perspective-and while it wasn't that far off, it wasn't a "perfect" fit. God directed someone into my life today that could turn the pieces just a little bit. With that change I was able to understand a little better what I was really looking at. While, the outcome isn't different and the disappointment is still there, I feel better.

A lot of things in life don't make sense. I hope that you can have some peace about whatever God's answer is.

Amazing isn't it, when just a slight shift of the angle of the view...the perspective is so different.

Reminds me of a show that my boys watch on Discovery Channel: Time Warp. They video an action then show it in various speeds and different angles. It's wild how different the actual situation looks!

I'm so glad you have a new view! :)

perspective helps a lot. I'm beginning to think there's just a lot of junk in a really fallen world too and so I try not to blame God for that part as much. Not sure on my theology but it seems to help me.
