So in a week we'll be at our new location. I was wrong--it doesn't have a screened in porch. It is an older house and it has a porch--not a screened one. My dad took a couple pictures, per our request so you can see as much as I've seen of my new home to be! This is the front of the house and the garage. Apparently the property is two lots so there is a big side yard next to the garage. Dad said it's about the same inside as it is outside. Not brand beautiful and new but a nice home in a small town. It's temporary anyway, unless we fall in love with it, but I don't see us picking it over the farm at all.
Dash gets to see the inside of it on Tuesday. It's still weird not picking out a place for ourselves, but I think my folks did a great job in finding such an afordable, close to the school, and seems to be nice home for us to live in for a while. We may even get a pool for the yard! :)

That looks nice. I'd bet that N and Cman will like the yard beside the garage as well.
It would be fun to have a porch, though perhaps better if it were screened in.
Looks like old Overland Park, yeah! Should hold you up for a while til you get the farm. Lots of mowing - you like mowing!
My parents did the same for picking us a house. It's a little strange to have someone pick out your house for you.
looks good. I'm guessing you will actually use the garage for your vehicles instead of turning it into a living room? : )
Well ... maybe not a living room, but I coul certainly have a "man room" like Doug Heffernan had ... and still have room for a car and all my "workbench stuff".
