There is a new homework help line for our schools here in Overland Park. It's great. N comes home, starts her math, language or science and as soon as she gets stumped she says--I'm going to call the homework zone, okay? I say "YES that's great!" I use to help her with her homework, I still could, but this frees up so much of my time and I know that she is getting quality help because the tutors are all teachers. I guess from what we received on it at the first of the year that it's funded by a government grant. She got a teacher that she didn't like as well this time (not as patient with her mistakes) but I mean, if she could do it right....She wouldn't be calling, now would she!? Oh well, I'm glad for the help and I'm glad that she's comfortable calling them and getting a fast answer to her questions. I have to look things up and think about it. It's been a while since I was in the 6th grade! ;)
On an unrelated note...cman found his expensive nose spray (weeks after losing it and finally getting it replaced!:) ) Isn't that how it always works out!?

Yeppers! The way it always is in life! Still waiting to find my original set of SS cards, though! Probably will find them ON THE DAY the replacements come in the mail! ;)
It would have been nice to have a homework help phone line when I was in school. Glad she can call it.
