In a day

Cman came home today and did his last homework page for the week. He had completed 3 yesterday, 2 of which I had graded, one I had not. So I graded his last two sheets and I said, Cman, you missed almost all of these! He quickly told me that the teacher taught them how to do that page today and that he could do better now. I said, okay, then fix it! He didn't get 100% because in addition to telling the time on it, he was suppose to write in how many minutes past the hour it was or how many minutes till the next hour, etc. But the actual time he did do correctly. I am amazed what a difference one day can make!

In other news....

N informed me that she corrected her teacher twice today. I was concerned until I found out what had happened. Apparently in her World Civ class the teacher was teaching Bible stuff and had a father/son relationship wrong (the two people weren't related) and then she just miss spoke on when Israel became divided. N asked if she should not have corrected the teacher, but we explained that if done in a respectful way it was okay, plus if they are wrong and you know for sure they are wrong then yes you should speak up, but again in a nice way.

Congrats to both CMan (one day's progress) and N.

It would bug me if I knew the teacher was wrong but couldn't correct the mistake.
