If you have a large blog...

So when posting my blogs it notifies me that if I have a large blog it may take a few minutes to post. Since my blogs never take a few minutes it makes me wonder. What is a large blog?

Is it based on the number of entries you have? I am sure my 300 pale in comparison to those who blog religiously and have since blogging began.

Is it based on how many words are in your blog? My blogs tend to be short, so that could be a contributing factor.

Is it based on how many pictures and extras you put in? Since I have only put in a couple pictures total in 300 blogs, that would certainly keep my post time down, I think.

I really don't know? But each time I sit and see that once more I do not have a large blog yet for it posts within seconds!

You have your own little corner of the blogsphere. Hurrah!

I'm not really sure what qualifies as large. I think that may be kind of a catch all in case server performance lags on occasion. It's a little easier than listing every single possibility of why the posting might be slow to individuals who may or may not understand.

That's what I think.

I think it means word count. When I type a longer story it takes longer to post.

It's pictures. For me it takes a while when I include a lot of pictures...especially when the resolution is pretty high.
