The moment we've been waiting for

The kids and I are going to watch Curious George today. We've wanted to see it since it came out. We opted to wait till it came out on video--BUT it's one of our summer movies from our Dickinson movie pass. I hope that my kids don't get too bored with it. We shall see. I guess I'll know in about 5 hours!

Awesome! Let me know if it's worth renting.

It is. Especially when your little one can enjoy it.

It was okay. The theater was packed with more then the usual amount. I was in a seat next to the isle an child decided to watch the movie from the bar in the middle. I figured before the movie ended he'd be on the rail in front of him (we were in the balcony) he was, myself and another mom (not his) got him down and then his mom came and held him down while he screemed. She ended up leaving early. He was also the child that coughed a nasty cough in my direction the whole movie while licking the bars he was sitting on.

Despite that adventure, from what I saw of the movie it was okay. I asked the kids if they liked it, they said yes, but neither asked me to rent it any time soon! I said I thought I would have enjoyed it more if we rented it and N agreed. But the movie was not bad, just the environment in which we ended up seeing it in.

Hmmm, remind me not to go to a kid flick in the theater based on that. : ) The last kids movie I watched was Monsters Inc. and it was in Spanish, starting when all movies start at 10pm. I enjoyed it but didn't get the jokes of course.

I always went for the curious george books when I was a kid waiting in the Doctor's office. That cute little monkey still makes me a bit nervous and I'm not sure why. Maybe I associate him with syringes.
