My mom is still doing better then she was. The surgery was a success in the sense that they did what they said they would do. She is not in a life threatening state anymore. They were not able to fix it all because if they had they would have put her in greater danger by doing more. They will not do this procedure again, but they are putting her on medicines and hope that it will help with any symptoms she has now. We are all praying that she continues to improve as she recovers from the surgery.
I had a good trip. I was back in town on schedule (which is always nice.) I am really tired, so I am hoping --since I'm not asleep yet--that I'll get some good rest later tonight. Thanks again for all your prayers.

Be careful not to mess up your sleeping schedule. Those of us who are not nappers should always be aware of the dangers that naps present. :)
It's never a bad thing to go to bed a little earlier than usual.
Hopefully the medicines will work well for her.
I have been praying for her during the day...but especially so at night, whenever I wake up. I will praying specifically that the medicines will be able to do their part now, since she isn't in the danger she was before the surgery.
