Looking over the past blogs I've written this year I've come to the conclusion. Once I write it down, I don't think about it much again. What seems like forever ago happened within this past year? I usually say "same ole thing" is happening here, but the truth is the same old thing is always changing in my life. Here are some things that stood out to me while reviewing my blog titles from this past year...

1. I spent my birthday with my family last year. I can't remember the last time I did that and I wouldn't have remembered that if I hadn't read it! :) How sad, but the truth is the weekend was about mom, not me, so that's what I remember.

2. That same weekend I spent a lot of my time in a hospital with my dad and siblings for my Gma. She was having Blood Pressure problems after suffering from a stroke.

3. Last year at this time we were teaching on couples in the Bible in Sunday School. (Has it really only been a year?)

4. Last year at this time I thought I was going to still be doing moppets with the church. I still miss it from time to time, but as usual, I have found a way to fill my time up in it's place.

5. My K became N in July and has made a successful transition changing her name.

6. We became a family of bloggers

7. We cured the "and stuff" bug (for now!:) )

8. We made it through the holiday's with me having a broken leg! I did bring in my first new year a lone--ever, that was different.

9. Cman got baptized and preached a couple sermons!

10. I spent a lot of time on the road for family and friends. Some for happy occasions (family vacation--mother's day) Some for hospital visits.

It's been a wacky year. All in all, looking back I realized that through the craziness of it, it's been a good year! Looking forward to "the same ole same ole"

The same ole thing isn't bad. We are about to trip into the different new thing. :)
