Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."

6 months to the day!
We've made our first camping reservations for the weekend of Easter! The last time we went camping was 6 months to the day (Oct. 14). I can't wait to sleep outside and be in the night air. We took a walk as a family Friday night and we were all talking about how it was perfect camping weather. I hope that it doesn't rain that weekend. The rangers have a class that will be camping in group camping, so dash will go between camps. I am looking forward to some down time. I'll relax. Read. Go on a hike. Play games with the kids. The usual. I have already gotten the kids a bug box so they can collect various bugs if they want! And some toys to assist them in making/digging stuff in the sand! I am sure they will have their share of books with them too! A fire at night. Fresh air. I can't wait! Happy Easter to me!

That is so funny! On the way home just now, the boys asked why we don't ever go on vacations with our friends...lol! I told them the only people I would ever consider going on vacation with would be Aunt T!
OH yeah...they are already counting the days until this weekend! =)
Yeah, if the weather is nice, we can put the tent up in the back yard again. I think they had fun sleeping out there the last time we did that?!
Sounds exciting, but July would be preferable. :)
We're going to be going to Topeka that weekend, so blogland may be pretty sparse that weekend.
I remember the last time you went camping to be the weekend before Halloween (Oct. 29) We spent the day with you guys. That was a lot of fun!
I was thinking it was later in October Golden! I just looked at my confirmation letter which was Oct. 14. That must have been when we reserved our site! :) So ALMOST 6 months to the day!
It was a lot of fun! We thought about camping in November but we never did. I love Spring and Fall Camping they are the best! (Even if some people prefer JULY!)
