Mom, do you really want my Florence poster back?

N did research on Florence Nightingale. She had to pick out some main points of her life and give a speech on her. Then she was told she had to create a Florence Nightingale time table. She did this. She picked out pictures of Florence from the internet to put on her Poster. She picked out the font and because of time I typed up the points she picked for her time table. Then she put it all together.

Yesterday she said that she could bring it home, but it was picked as one of the posters that the teacher would like to keep to show others if N didn't have to have it back! I asked her which she wanted to do and she said it would be cool to be an example for others! So she's letting her teacher keep it!

Seems like the teachers always want to showcase N's work. Great job N!

yeah, I don't know if that's true for all the kids or a select few? Who knows, she may be a bit of a pet?! She is one of 3 in her class that's been picked for a special Math tutorial online too. The school is purchasing a license for her for a year! The teacher said it was based on math skills (must be advanced) and that she picked based on their attitude and ability to turn work in on time etc. Nick's amazed! Math is supose to be her hard subject! :) She's on cloud nine tonight, she couldn't wait to tell us! She does work hard at school. She's a trooper.

N always seemed to be WAY smart and extroverted. That is neat that she is learning about historical women worth emulating!

It's good she enjoys school. It makes such a difference to your approach over the years if it's a good experience.
