$10.75

We took a trip to the 1/2 price book store. for $10.75 we got our children 18 books. Not just regular books...check it out!

"Meet Robert E. Lee" a Random House step up book. $0.50
"Meet John F. Kennedy" a Random House step up book. $0.50
"Meet Theodore Roosevelt" a Random House step up book. $0.50
"Daniel Boone" from the Heroes of America series
"George Washington" from the Heroes of America series
From the Cornerstone of Freedom series: "The story of the Homestead Act", "The story of the Clipper Ships", "The story of Fort Sumter", "The story of the Star-Spangled Banner", "The story of the Flight at Kitty Hawk", "The story of the Declaration of Independence", and "The story of the Golden Spike"--all of these books were $0.50 each
"Daddy Long Legs" for N $0.50
"The case of the Nervous Newsboy" for N and C $0.50

and "Indian Two Feet and His Horse" for C $1.00

The kids are looking forward to having books on hand for reports and they are both interested in history! So this was like Christmas for them! They are excited about all their new books. Both those for fun and those for reference!

It is fun having a collection of books. Hmm, they are almost all history books. Did Dash have some influence? :)

Like you said they will come in handy for book reports.

I love books, but I did feel like I'd been robbed when I sold some to half price books. Maybe it was the low price combined with my sadness at parting with some.
