Speaking of Mom and Daughter moments

Some of you know that I have requested prayer for my mom. She is having some health issues. They are running tests to rule out heart problems. She's been extremely tired, nauseous, and her heart is beating irregularly. Those are the main things that she's dealing with. They've taken her off caffeine completely, while they run tests.

My mom is a cool mom. She and I always have fun together. I know how to have fun moments with N and C because when my mom would take me to the dentist or the store or anywhere growing up we'd have a blast. We sing to music and laugh at stupid stuff we do. She's enjoys being silly too. So she and I have mastered the "silly moment's with mom" thing. We just goof off. It's important in life to have the ability to do that. My mom likes fun songs. Well, she loves to sing it's a passion of hers. She's been piano player and song/worship leader for years. She knows a lot of the cool old songs from her era! So she'd sing those to us growing up and with us now! She wouldn't let us go to dances, but she enjoys dancing! So she taught us the stroll and she would put music on and dance with us and watch us dance when we were at home.

She's a cool mom who usually has lots of energy and could have been the model that they created the energizer bunny off of; so the fact that she is so slowed down now and running in such a low gear is a great concern. Waiting for test results is not an easy thing for me. She seems to be doing better at the waiting then I am. I want to hop in the car to go see her, but as my dad pointed out--she is in low gear, but she is not stopping. He even tried to get her to take the week off work to rest but she refused, saying she'd be fine. I'd probably be like that too though. At least when she's working she doesn't have to sit and think about not feeling well.

Probably??? You'd "probably be like that too"? =D

Let's refer to your blog posting of "The Results" on February 1, 2006. "....(Guess what I'm planning on! I think I'll be just fine by April 23rd to cancel with a couple days notice :) )....."

Oh yeah, drop the "probably"...LOL! You would....and you are! But we still love you!
