Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."

Thankfulness (thanks to TC)
I know it's not Thanksgiving, but I read a blog today that reminded me of where I've been. This was a blog of a 17 year old girl that is very unhappy with life right now. A lot of her posts sounded like the things I wrote when I was her age. It seems like so far away from where I am now, but it's really not. It's not been that long since I was where she is and I am so thankful for God's grace and His patience that has brought me along one baby step at a time to where I am now. God is good--All the time and I am glad that I have found His grace and mercy in my life. I know that I won't soon forget TC and I'll be praying that God finds a way to reach her and fill her life with Love, Joy, and Peace so she too can truly experience happiness without pretense. That is something that I never want to take for granted again.

No matter what age we are, we all need God's love, joy, peace, etc. We can't try to conger up the fruit of the spirit in our own flesh. It is something we can ask God for and He will gladly give it!
