Ok - so it's not really a new week, as it is only Wednesday. It's not really a "new year" as it is April. But the sentiment behind the statement stands.
I'm sitting down to blog for the first time in a while. I have not specific agenda. I'm just appreciating some quiet time as both kids are home but in their rooms relaxing and neither require anything at the moment.
Chad is out of town. His travels are winding down at the moment. He'll be home for a couple weeks and then back in Mississippi for a week and then, depending on what happens - he'll be home for good for a while.
He found out at the end of last week that he officially will be continuing to work for Comcast. They are not going through with the purchase of Time Warner. I have to say, I hate that families went through a lot of turmoil during the past year or so, some people moved, took jobs to stay with Comcast. Some people just had to live for a year not knowing who the company was going to be that they would be working for in the future. We were lucky, other than the emotional back and forth of unanswered questions and constant wondering, we weren't put out by the potential change. I've got to say, that I'm thrilled that the "what if" of the purchase is over. Now we enter the "what now" phase as Comcast added people to replace others that were supposed to be moving with the purchase of Time Warner and Sale of part of Comcast. So, they are technically overstaffed. We'll not borrow trouble by worrying about that at the moment. There are never any guarantees in life. I know that and Chad knows that. We try to live life in such a way that whatever happens we can roll with it.
I could jump to another thought, I started a few already, but I think I'll end with this one. Until next time! Enjoy your new day/week/year!

I wondered how that potential merger was going to affect Chad. I'm happy to hear that he still has a position!
I hope you're all doing well.
