You thought I was kidding. :)

See, I told you on facebook I was going to come back to my blog! It's been a crazy six months. I have been very, very sick. I am finally feeling better, they think everything can be linked to an allergy to a BP medicine. Crazy. But I'm not here to write about being sick. Here's the Franklin scoop. Chad-he's travelling 100% of the time now. He's got a contract job and since September has been gone every week except the one between Christmas and New Years. We are handling the job surprisingly well, all things considered. Nicky-She's a senior. She's decided on an education major from ISU. She has not yet decided if she'll live at home or not, but the closer we get, the more it looks like that's what it will be, at least for year one. She's still working at the local grocery store, she's been there since July of 2011. She's working her butt off in school and applying for scholarships. We're praying that God will bless her hard work. She's also finally found a church near Terre Haute that she loves. She's getting excited about it. I'm so glad for everything that is going well for her. Chandler-Played basketball this year. He is really into IU and watching basketball on TV. He is very helpful around the house and he's doing well with school and playing the drums. I'm not sure if he'll be a "drummer" or not later on, but I'm glad he's had a couple years in band to pick up and learn some things. Me-I'm still at my "new job" :). I don't know when it will not feel "new". There are so many things to learn about the school software. I'd love to learn how to write the code for it, but I have to take it one step at a time. Right now I'm still learning the ins and outs. As I mentioned I've been sick, but I'm finally feeling better. Not 100%, but so much closer. It's amazing how much more you can get done when you feel better. My days are getting longer and I'm actually catching up on stuff I'm working on at home, with the pantry and learning more at work. It's a great feeling. Hope everyone out there in "blog land" is doing well! :) Still miss you all and think of you often. :)

It's so great to hear an update on your family!

Nicky can't be college age. That doesn't seem possible.

Chandler always seemed like he could be athletic. I'm happy to hear he has a sport he enjoys and is able play in school.

That's amazing to hear they figured out the cause of your illness. Pet, pollen, and food allergies I am used to. I wouldn't think to investigate medicinal allergies, though.

I'm impressed with how well your family is managing Chad having to travel so much. I have often thought about how challenging that would be. God provides strength for the challenges we have to face, though.
