Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."
It's Quiet... It's Peaceful... It's Simple... It's Real

“There is no try, only do or do not”
Ok, so Yoda has it right. I mean it. I am “trying” to change. Really? I want to grow, I want to be better. I want to know where I can improve and how I can improve and then I want to DO it.
I think that's why God has to do the real work in me. I'm like the kid who won't pull the band-aid off for fear of the momentary pain. I think I want to improve but I'll never take the steps on my own.
Improvement is so painful and so temporary if it isn't truely coming from our hearts. I have an opportunity to work with a "coach" this fall. They have already sent me paperwork about specific goals etc yaddah yaddah. Obviously I'm skeptical but I can also see how having someone checking on your change goals may help motivate me. We'll see!
