Weight Loss

In the middle of the second real week of restarting weight watchers.  Today’s been tough.  We had a luncheon at work.  Yes I had a small amount of birthday cake and cheesecake (cheesecake was special for me! Smile

The luncheon wasn’t the toughest part, today my mental hurdle is around portion control.  Today I’m in the “I want more” category.  I did great all day long, then tonight I splurged a little extra on cereal.  I like that weight watchers has the extra points you can use for one time event or through out your week.  Even though I over ate, I chose wisely. I resisted the urge to get a candy bar before dinner and to eat extra mashed potatoes at lunch.  I ate more salad and less sweets. 

So, today was tough, but at the end, I’m ok with my decisions.  Progress.

I understand the portion control problem. When I eat properly-sized portions I'm still hungry. I think that's one of those things that gets easier with time when your body gets used to the portions you give it, though.

The points system really is a good idea. I wish you well.

uggg...Tonight I caved and ate way to many desserts. I will do better tomorrow. I hate set backs, but I am determined to not let this be a giant one.
