Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."

What if you had one month to live? This week we start our study of "One Month To Live" at church. I am looking forward to it. The concept reminds me of an exercise I did at Evangel in one of my business classes. We had to write our own obituaries. The end goal was that we would write the way we want to be remembered and then start living our life to accomplish that. I have to say that it made a difference for me. I didn't change a lot about how I lived, but it also helped to keep me from changing when opportunities/temptations came up that weren't in line with what I wanted to be remembered as.

I received a text with the question: What in five minutes?
Similar type of life assessment question...really makes you think.
I am taking the time to focus my day on HIM at the beginning which has helped my reactions to everyday situations...oh, and the terrible Missouri drivers!
I'd like to think I live that way, but if I had a limited time, I'd probably hang out with friends and family. What I want to THINK I would do, is win everyone to Christ. I need to take that more to heart.
I have thought about it a lot and I don't know any more about what I would do different now than I did when I first thought about it.
