I asked Chandler and Nicky tonight (at separate times) if our church could do anything to help the community, what would you like to see us do?
Nicky said "I think we should give everyone in the community a box of macaroni and cheese (and put a smile on it.) :) ---she's 14
Chandler said "I think we should have church services at the park every Sunday night, because a lot of people that aren't Christians are there and they will hear the preaching that way. He also said that people who attend our church and frequent the park should be given fliers to hand out during the week to let people know we'd be there and then we should announce it too. ---He's 9 (Almost 10)
He came up with a second idea....
He thinks we should buy a carnival ride/roller coaster that yells Bible verses at people while they are riding! :) That one made me laugh for a while. He said every time they got on a roller coaster or life became a roller coaster for them they'd remember "For God so loved the world". Or "Jesus wept".

Good ideas all around, starting with the idea to look at what you can do in the community.
Smart kids! Did you hear about some church in Florida that handed out $25,000 to the congregation to give out to people in the commmunity?
