2nd time around

Last summer I finally got the courage to try to stop chewing my fingernails. A friend of mine was helpful in suggesting a product that worked for them and while I was skeptical, I was encouraged by their story and wha la. I had great nails for the first time in my life!

Then it happened. One broke. This had happened before, but this time it broke pretty low. So I had to cut my nails down more then usual. By them being so low, I fell back into my old ways, it was too easy. So now, I'm once again stopping this nasty habit. I wish I had never clipped my nails and I will think twice before doing that again. But I'm glad that this time I know I can do it and it's not taking the same effort as before, for that I am thankful.

I used to chew my nails a lot too, but the reason for me is that I hate my nails being beyond a certain length. It just irritates me. Once you get a system in place, though, it is easier to get back on the wagon (or was it off the wagon... I can never remember).
