Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."

The biggest loser
Our church (really our pastors) are starting a "biggest loser" competition this week for those in the church who want to join. The thing of it is, they only need to lose like 5 lbs if that. So it's a little less motivating for someone my size to join, even if I'd like too. I was talking to another woman about this. We don't want to "weigh in" in front of people. So we're trying to think of something that we could do that would encourage us to lose weight, without having to be so public with it.

Yeah, that competition is for a specific personality type. I don't think most people want to display their weight for the world to see.
Thats a nice idea. Good luck with that. Is Dash partipating too?
I got a birthday card that said it was inappropriate to ask a lady her age and on the inside it said, so how much do you weigh? ha! I'll take telling my age any day over my weight - it's just too personal. My grandmother made me weigh in the work out room at her retirement facility and loudly announced that I weigh more than her and let's go to lunch. Thanks for that.
