We have bought our house. Which is fine, but now we have a house that needs a lot of tlc in the decorating and general cosmetics of the home. Where do we begin? Dash insists that we start with the floors, even though painting the walls and hanging new curtains would be a HUGE improvement, he says we need to decide if we're putting new carpet in (the easy way out) or redoing the hardwood floors that are under the carpet (not so easy way out.) Regardless of what we're going to start with I'm ready for this place to be improved!
I did buy a couple lamps today. They are for the living room. I know regardless of what we paint or do they will be a nice adddition! :) We like projects typically, I think we both just see this one as a never ending project, once we're done with one area, we're going to want to work on another and another! So we may be slower to start then I was originally hoping for.

Congrats on the new house. I hope you got a good deal. I can't say I like doing projects. At least Dash is good at that sort of thing.

Use the carpets that you pull up to decorate your walls. Two birds. One stone.
