Okay--for those who didn't want to do the work to find out...but wondered the same thing I did after watching Survivor, your wait is over!
Erik named the new merged tribe "Dabu" telling them it means "good" in Micronesia. He later admits, he does not know what the word means. I laughed and said, "what if it means "crap." Guess what...
Dabu is from Nauruan. Nauruan is a member of the Micronesian family of Austronesian languages. According to webster's online english translation dictionary Dabu means...diarrhea! My hopes of all hopes came true! Jeff will get to tell the tribe that they named themselves "diarrhea!" I can't wait for the finally! :)

I honestly thought that diarrhea was too good to be true so I had to investigate further, you are not kidding. That is just priceless.
I heard a story once of an immigrant couple who named their child a beautiful word in Engish - you guessed it - Diarrhea.
That's hilarious! How did you even find that out?
It was a collaborative effort. Nicky made some website suggestions, so did dash. We eventually found it through the websters translation dictionary, then I looked up the country it was from to confirm it was a micronesian island! It's not Paulau?sp, but it's still in micronesia! :)
Too funny! It will be great when they all find that out.
"Dabu" also means "I Obey" in Warcraft/World of Warcraft... it's actually a pretty commonly heard word in game. That's where I got immediately that Erik probably took the word from.
It's awesome at the same time that somewhere in Micronesia ("Micronesian" not actually being a language by itself) that Dabu means diarrhea, but from a more global "language", I definitely think he was dropping a WoW reference.
Pretty hilarious. I don't watch the show, but I can't imagine what they will say when they find out.
