It's Christmas morning. I just realized it's been almost 2 weeks since I blogged. I don't usually go that long without having something to say! I guess I've been in a weird mode. I hope you all are having a great Christmas. We have spread it out over the weekend. We did gifts already and then cider/cocoa/cookies and movies tonight. Tomorrow we're having a Christmas dinner and stockings and reading the Christmas story. I guess since we spread out our own birthday celebrations for a week it's only fitting that we do Christmas that way too! :)
Besides what is becoming a traditional gift for the kids (sketch pads and pencils) we got the family a couple family games. Phase 10 and Rook. The kids are having fun with them. Dash is way to good at Phase 10 and Chan and I are trump hogs in Rook, so the fun part isn't balanced yet! We're working on it. Chan and I are practicing saying "Pass" when it comes to us in Rook! We even played Cranium with the kids tonight. That was fun. They still are a little young for it somewhat but it didn't go too bad. They do a great job on sculpting and drawing.
I think on an upcoming h20fall blog N will be displaying a picture she drew of Jonas Brothers. She's does a great job drawing people. I guess that covers everything for now. I hope you all had/have a great Christmas and Enjoy your new year too! :)

Sounds like a charming X-mas. I like the family games idea.
Yes, it is an excellent idea, family games. We aren't there yet. It sounds like you got to relax and have a wonderful christmas.
New games are always fun. One of my college roomates was a huge Rook aficionado.
Golden's parents got me the board game Lost (as in, like the TV show). She got bored with it quick and by the end only myself and Golden's dad were still playing.
Isn't Rook the A/G approved card game that take the place of playing with real cards. I remember growing up my parents would have other church parents over for a game of Rook.
