As I stated before, N and Chan got sketch pads and new pencils for Christmas. They started asking for art stuff a few years ago and last year and this year have started specifying pencils and sketch pads. This makes life easier for us as parents and I have fun with things they draw! Nicky has started specializing in people. So here is the first picture Nicky drew. It's of a boy band "The Jonas Brothers". She ended up coloring it in putting it on scrapbook paper and giving it to her two best friends. I have included an actual picture of the Jonas Brothers below it for your comparison! Enjoy!
Chan has his own take on art. He has created these "creatures" he's 8 and really into drawing monsters/creatures and has been drawing these for a while. He mentioned a couple months ago that he would maybe like to create comic books when he is older. I am not sure he's still thinking about that, but his love to "BeeFly" and this other yet to be named creature (stands like a human) are pretty dear and a common signature on anything from him right now! They even showed up on a Thank you note he wrote to someone recently! He said that they are typically desert creatures which is why the snow/ice is being questioned in this picture! Enjoy! :)

Chan's monsters are impressive as well.
I think they are really good, for their respective ages. That is great, that your kids love drawing. I am beginning to think my kids want to do something in TV they love it so much.
Nicky drawings are good. I used to draw my own comics when I was Chan's age.
