USPS test

I've often considered taking the USPS test. The thing that held me back the most was that I hated taking tests. That word intimidates me. TEST. Yuk.

Over the years I thought about it but it never seemed to fit. I have grown out of my fear of tests somewhat and when we moved back here I sent out info saying I was interested in taking the test. It took months to hear back from them. Today I took the test for PT sub carrier. I won't know if I did okay enough to be added to the register or not for another 3 weeks. Then once I'm added there is no guarantee of work, but I've heard that some subs get LOTS of hours. So I don't know if that's all based on area or what?

I figured for now I'll leave the door open and see if they slam it shut! :) I am not 100% comfortable with how slow I was on the test. The only thing worse than taking a test is taking a timed test. The whole test is timed. Yuk, double yuk.

Anyway, I conquered something that has intimidated me for years! The thought of taking that test, so I feel pretty good about that!

I also conquered the sewing machine and mastered sewing patches on vests today too! All in all, it was a good day! :)

I hate tests too. The thought of going back to school someday to that, Yuk! BB almost took that test. The book made it look quite difficult. Congratulations of finishing it.

If I remember right, the USPS test is largely about the ability to recognize and memorize information. I'd bet you did well at that.

I never mastered sewing.

When I was looking for work, I almost took that test, but it really intimated me. I remember you had to be really quick. I am notoriously slow when it comes to taking test.

I'm still not convinced I did well on the test. It was all timed and I read/think slow so we'll see I'll know in a few weeks how I did.
