We had my family over for a cook out today. Dash was kind and cooked 40 hamburgers and 30 hot dogs for the crew! :) There are 19 of us. 12 of which are men/boys. Not all the meat was eaten, most of it was. There have been many times that it has been, so we were prepared! We had the house open. All the windows were open and the ceiling fans going! Dash installed a ceiling fan in our living room last night so that we could have the house open and it be comfortable.
We used the garage as our base for the get together. We had 4 table areas set up for eating and conversation. Later in the evening we ended up in a big circle out in the driveway watching the kids play out in the yard and visiting.
This was the first time since our family got together almost 2 years ago at Thanksgiving that everyone in the family was together at the same time. My brother had originally planned on going to Texas for an annual trip he makes at Labor day and he ended up deciding not to go. It was a special treat that he surprised us all by showing up when we were not expecting him to be here. The weekend started for the kids early. My sister Tina had all the local nieces and nephews over to spend the night last night and then Josh and Jake joined them today for hanging out and swimming! So my kids were very tired by the time the evening was over tonight but we all had a great time! :)

That sounds fun!
I think I would be intimidated grilling for the in-laws. Dash knows what he is doing, though.
LAbor Day with my family - now there's a concept!
That is alot of meat to grill. Way to go Dash. I set the grill on fire last week cooking for 20 at homegroup.
I am glad that you had the treat of having all of your family together.
We had a family BBQ too! Those are good fun. You let the kids loose and the adults talk. Good job, Dash, on all the grilling.
