Whimsical

I get in different decorating moods every now and then. We have either painted/repainted or rearranged our house a lot since we moved in almost 5 years ago now. When we moved in, Dash picked out a new shower curtain. I was never in love with it (I told him this--he doesn't seem to remember that now!) The other day, I realized that for a while now I had been wanting to change it, and unless I took it down I would not do that. So, on a whim, I removed it from the bathroom!

When we went to the store later that night I picked out a solid blue shower curtain and rod to match. I liked the froggy curtain hooks, so I got them! It seemed to brighten the blue and I liked the colors of them. I am not particularly a person drawn to frogs, but for some reason--these particular ones got my attention.

The next step was for us to both say that we HATE the existing border in the bathroom. It's been there since we moved in and we just never felt compelled to change it. The froggies would match my yellow tiles, yellow rug, and yellow trash can--but not our border. What border should we get? We got the froggy border! For some reason, even though neither of us would typically be jumping at the option of frogs we now have a froggy bathroom! I guess my "whimsical mood" contributed a lot to that. I came home that night and changed the background from my pc to this one also! Do you like it? I think the winter weather is getting to me and I am letting my whimsical mood bring a little bit of spring into my life where ever I can find it! :)

I'd get spring wherever I could too.

Golden is more whimsical than I, and she isn't too whimsical.

I'm sure all the changes look cool (or at least spring-like :)... ).

I am too lazy to change things too much. I would love to redo the whole house if I had the money and energy.

Frogs?!! I wouldn't have guessed you to go on a frog whim. Funny. I like the screen saver. Very colorful. It's the time a year a punch of color is nice.
