Bad dates

I had some bad dates (prior to dash.) Here are are the top 5 worst dates I had:

5. My senior prom. I went with my ex-boyfriend. We broke up the week prior, but he was kind enough to still take me to my prom (yippee).

4. My junior prom. I went with a friend, who apparently thought it might be his chance to become more then a friend. (Sorry David, no can do.)

3. Finally asked out by a guy I had a crush on 3 years prior. I hadn't seen him in a couple years. He took me out to eat and then sprung for indoor putt - putt (that was a joke by itself.) The worst was him spending the whole date talking about his best friend and all the things they did together. I stopped listening at skinny dipping in my grandma's pond! I was picked up at 6 and home by 9 with 1/2 hour drive to town and back. My mom and brother said "you're home early" and I said "Ahhh that was awful" before the door was shut! :) I never heard from him again?!

2. Going out to my boyfriends fancy dinner with his frat brothers and getting dumped afterwards--the week before my prom.

1. My very first date ever (and the guy knew it.) He showed up late. I wasn't very happy with him. Then he took me to Wendy's. He said I could eat, but I decided I wasn't hungry. Whatever.

Wow, Wendy's? That's pretty bad. I guess it's better than McD's

Every girl remembers every detail of their worst dates.

Those were entertaining. : )

Makes me glad I didn't date more. I'm sure I'd find a way to make some girl's "worst" list. :)

Some people just don't think through the timing of dumping others. I had a (single) piano teacher who told me the story of his prom. He dumped his girlfriend literally hours before it. He noted that, in retrospect, this was not a wise move.

My favorite one's were dutch dates (maybe I'm thinking too much)... I did like the 3-hour large hot tea from some some chinese drive-thru off Glenstone before roamer had to make curfew. Worst one was an agreement to go out with some Army dude's girlfriend's sister on a blind date when I was Italy. The girls were Arabic. His gilfriend (Sameela) was pretty and pretty young. The bigger surprise was her much younger sister (Saneela) who was in pigtails and looked to be about 12. The four of us rode a couple of carnival rides and Saneela cried because I would not hold her hand. In retrospect I may have been the unwitting "bribe" to keep the young chaperone quiet. Holy cow....
