The kids help out around the house now. At least they have chores, like loading the dish washer and things like that. So today, when I said that we were going to deep clean the house, they were okay, but not excited! Oh well!
They do okay, for the first hour. Then after that I have to stay on them to get anything out of them. I understand, after an hour I want to be done too. Oh well. the house is clean again and it's worth the work. We cleaned baseboards, and dusted EVERYTHING. Cman vacuumed the couches and the cushions N took on base boards and some of the dusting. I helped dust. We worked together. By the time dash is home the house upstairs should be pretty good. That just means that dash and I should clean our room and the office. But that can be done another day.
The point of the title Qtips lies in the fact that until a couple weeks ago, when N and I deep cleaned the kids have really only been involved in surface cleaning. So, today N was introduced to cleaning the facet and small areas with Qtips. She didn't have to do this, I just showed her what I was doing. I figure someday she'll take up the Qtip cleaning, but how's she going to know to do it if I never show her! The last time I showed her how to vacuum the couches and clean the baseboards.
It's fun having kids around to show them stuff and get some extra help too! ;)
---N just informed me that she just cleaned their facet with Qtips! :) That's my girl!

Yeah, we probably need to do this sometime soon. :(
Good job, N!
Qtips...huh, that's a good, uh, tip. I don't like to clean and swore my parents only had me so they'd have house help.
I'm terribly glad that Dar is hands-on in home cleaning involvement.
So, there is more than one use for a Q-tip. : )
Yeah, I don't like cleaning either, Roamer. I have to get better at it cause T is at my house four days a week, now. : )
