As I head to bed tonight it's the close of a long weekend for us. The kids are snug in their beds zonked out and dash headed down to bed a few minutes ago too, I'll catch up! :) But it's been a few days since I blogged so I thought I'd say hi again. I had a great time on our trip. We went to Tulsa and visited with Dash's Grandma. The kids had fun and we all just kicked back. I learned a lot about her family--she likes to look back to the past! She's 84 so she's entitled! It was neat hearing how she met his granddad and what was happening when. She admits that memories get mixed up from time to time also. But again, she's earned the right to forget!
We ventured up to Springfield next. It was a shorter visit, but we saw his dad and brother both. It's nice to see them and how they are doing. We don't get there often enough and I'm not just saying that because his dad reads my blogs! :) I was very flattered that he said he checks me every day as one of his first things on the internet and he also said that he enjoys reading them. I was also a little embarrassed. It's still difficult for me to take a complement even at the age of 33.
It was a good weekend, I'm sorry our "mini-vacation" was so short but it was very relaxing and even though I'm going to bed earlier then I have in days, I am ready to start me week and have a good one at that!
Good night one and all.

Everyone has blurkers. :)
I hope you and Dash had a good anniversary. Sounds like it was a fun and busy weekend.
You sound like a radio announcer signing off his shift! Wasn't Dash into radio at one time? =)
BTW, you can always tell when I am having a rough time because I DON'T blog...LOL! I prefer to blog when things are uplifting for others to read...so I am inspired by you that you do blog regularly!!
Sounds like you had a relaxing weekend. And you made Dash's relatives happy by visiting. Glad to have you back again!
Funny about people reading your blogs - our boss's wife informed us she heard we had a dog from a couple in Nebraska who are coming over here who blurk our blogs!
You do sound like a radio annouceer. Sounds like a relaxing weekend
