My mom is meeting me in St. Louis this week to spend a little more then a day with me and the kids. I'm going to bake a cake (in Jadee's home) for Cman. It's his birthday in a couple weeks. He usually doesn't get to spend his birthday with family so we're going shopping with Gma too! He was sure that she wanted to see them because of his birthday when I told him she had called! :)
I am excited about getting to see my mom for fun. This is the first time that I will have been able to do that since Christmas. It was just after Christmas that she gave in and went to the doctor for her heart and every trip since has been to help out in one way or another. So, this one is just for fun! :) The kids haven't spent any time with her like this in almost a year, since they didn't get their traditional summer week with her. We may send them this fall during the "fall break." (Fall break = 2 or more days off school in October. The school doesn't call it this, but I do!)
Anyway, it's going to be great to see my mom and Jadee is being kind enough to provide us a crashing place too! Fun Fun Fun till our daddy takes our Tbird away!

Sounds like a fun weekend. When my folks were here, I realized we rarely hang out for days on end. WHen you're in the same city, you drop by and get going. It's an interesting mix. Enjoy long days! Good timing before school starts
