- I got to go back to work! :) I get a little stir crazy if at home too long!
- The van didn't break down completely! (Some know that the transmission is going out on our van, it "acted" up enough that we took it in and it's getting fixed NOW instead of when we have kids with us!)
- I got to talk with my mom and get some good mom advice.
- Went to the drive-in
- Kicked back this weekend. Dash wanted a weekend of "nothing"
- Ate out with dash and friends for Dad's day! (YAY BobBQ and cheesy corn bake!)
- Found a great deal on the internet for rental car so I can still work this week while the van is getting fixed!
- Talked to my daddy on the phone a couple time! :) Made him laugh! :)
Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."

Glad you got a good deal on the rental car! Hope the tranmsission bill is reasonable. Sounds like a pretty good week. : ) The cheesy corn bake was good.
Yeah, sorry to hear about the transmission. Cars can be as much money pits as houses.
Sounds as if you have been busy...no wonder we only talked a couple of times this week...LOL!
BTW, the boys want to know why we couldn't go see CARS with you guys!
Sounds like a wonderful interlude (minus the transmission) of real life. That's terrific. What'd you see at the drive-in?
The "good deal" on the rental car turned out to be ok rather than spectacular. The rental company tacked on quite a few extra charges; in fact all the extras were more than the rental itself.
The good news is that T has a PT Cruiser for the next few days and my chance of getting one has increased dramatically!
I haven't been to the Bob-b-q shack in a while. Now you make me hungry.
