It's 3 hours until my next Doctor's appointment for my leg. I hope that it's my last. I would like to be told, you're good to go. I do still have some swelling in my leg from time to time and some soreness, but I am so sick of the boot that I will live with the pain if they will let me where my other Tennis shoe again! I know that part of the "live with the pain" is also depending on weather or not my bone is mended enough to handle life without it's extra support. I did find out from another doctor that the bone I broke is only responsible for handling a seventh of your body weight, so if you are going to break a leg bone you want it to be that one. I guess that's why I was able to walk on it for a couple days after I broke it. That makes more sense now.
I am just hoping that all goes well and I don't have to go back to this doctor again. Talk about king of "Hi/Bye." I pay extra co pay to see him because he's a specialist and he barely makes it in the room. I guess all he really needs to see is the x-rays. I wish we could have our own personal x-ray machine and fax in the results to the doctor from home! Then I wouldn't have to bother taking off work and driving there for my 5 minute, "yeah, you're right where you're suppose to be" ($25 for that 5 minute) meeting. Oh yeah, and in addition to paying more for him, he makes me wait longer then my regular doctors too!
I am so done with this whole thing. I am ready to get back to life 100% without the "limp" and heavy boot and everything else that has gone with this stupid broken leg.

I know the feeling about waiting in the doctor's offices. Just last week I took J to his first dentist appt at 3:20p. We were told to get there about 10 mins early to fill out new patient forms. We got there at 3pm. But we didn't get in to see the dentist until 4pm. 40 mins AFTER the appt time! They had 3 signs in the waiting area to notify the front desk if you have waited 10 mins past your appt time. Now that N can read EVERYTHING, kept prompting me to ask what was taking so long!! LOL!
Obviously, they have a problem with running behind in schedules or they would not need to post it in the waiting area! =D
BTW, I do hope you have a good news report today. I will call you later when I get off work!
