Artistic kids
My kids had open house tonight at school. Cman had art work up everywhere, but his most prized piece is the one the earned the right to the "Art Room" display. Yes both Cman and N had their art work chosen for the precious display in the art room. This is a very big deal. N's was her Valley Forge poster and Cman's was a still life of Ragedy Ann doll! They did great work.

That is neat that they both have artistic abilities. They should be real proud.
I never cease to be amazed at what they come up with! I didn't have the patience for drawing as a kid. They both work on things and practice at home and draw and draw and draw some more! I run out of computer paper! :) That would never have been the case for my mom with me drawing. Now, writing a note or using it to make a checkbook--maybe! :) But not to draw! I use to sit and make my own math problems too come to think of it. I guess my interests just were in a completely different realm of the brain then my kids interests are! (Whew--lucky them! :))
