Most people can attribute some of their actions to their place in the family. Sometimes it's a positive attribute, sometimes it's not so positive. I have heard couples say that they can't agree on decorative ideas because they are both oldest children. I have heard people say that their spouse is the youngest and they are the oldest so it works for them and their expectations (ie....one needs babied, or given into more then the other.)
So, are you the oldest, middle, youngest or just messed up like me!?
I've always had fun with this because... there's a break down when there are gaps in ages of children. For example here is how this works in my family....
T1 = 39
T2 = 38
T3 = 32 (that's me)
R = 29
So I am as you can see 6 and 7 years younger then my sisters and 3 years older then my brother. Making me the "oldest" of my brother and I...the "youngest" of my sisters and the middle child.
Write a text book on that one! I get to pull out the "I just want to be babied hat" while dawning the "I'm in charge of my life suit" and the "these are most definately the wrong shoes...I never get anything right" outfit! Or I can wear the "Let's just let him have his way hat" while wearing the "but I like this one suit" and the "this will do, I can make it work, shoes!"
I don't really know what I'm talking about, but it's always fun for comments! So which are you? Oldest, youngest, or middle? Which is your spouse? Do you think your outlook to life is typical of the text book oldest, middle, youngest rules?
What do the text books say? Simplified version: http://www.briomag.com/briomagazine/relationships/a0004402.html

Hmmmm...seems I have heard this post before...lol....just in real conversation! =D
Hey, I said I have fun with it....I'm not the only one with band wagons! pbbbbssssttt
Dust and I are both the oldest, but we don't ever clash on decorative ideas. Dust doesn't care what I do--could be that he is colorblind.
We both have the responsible gene. We get so frustrated with our younger siblings!
I'm an only. That brings up a whole new set of issues! I have decided that middles are my favorites though
Yeah, Golden and I are both the more responsible (but by far the more boring) of our siblings.
