First day back

Well, today was my first day back to work. Okay, so it was only 1/2 a day and since I only work PT I don't have to go back till Friday, but non the less I was back to work.

I got into the car and went to make a deposit first, put gas in the car and then headed to work. I didn't take my crutches. I've made it up and down the stairs the last couple of days here, so I figured I'd be fine there. I was. I made it up and down their stairs and played computer games and real games and read books and did all the fun stuff I usually do while at work! Sure it was difficult playing hungry hippos while balancing it on my knee because I can't crawl on the floor right now and the kids table was moved (again, to the bed room:) !) But I did it and we made it work!

I can't believe how much Charlie has grown in the past couple months. He's taller and he's talking more clearly. He's also master the cartwheel! Paige was herself too, showing off her new dance moves while she waited for her ride to school.

It was a great day and it felt great being back to work! I maybe picking up more hours in the next little bit too! Which would be great, but we'll have to wait and see. All in all, it was a productive day and the most "normal" day I've had in a while. I even came home and cleaned the kitchen. Although standing is still more difficult then walking and I managed to do the dishes and I lived to talk about it!
