Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."

Determination
I put down my crutch today and took my first steps without any assistance. Talk about odd feeling. The nurse said to walk normal. I don't think she's ever had all her muscle mass gone and then put a huge boot on her leg. NORMAL? It's going to take a lot more practice before I'm comfortable walking in public that's for sure. Besides the fact that I can only do a few steps before I need to take a break. Everyday is improvement though, so somehow I guess I'll figure it out!

It would be weird for something as common as walking to all of a sudden be so difficult I think. Congratulations on your first steps.
I almost added to my blog that it's weird having to think so much to stand up and take a few steps! I told a friend today that I feel like an Ox in a China shop! But as my title states "determination". I am determined so I will somehow figure this out too.

Golden took my comment right out of my head...LOL!
I am glad that everyday is improving for you!
T is doing great - she even drove up to walgreens and the bank tonight. We went out at about midnight so there wouldn't be much traffic, so she got a chance to feel out the break and gas pedals to see how much pressure she has to use.
I bet driving would be a little rough. Can you feel the pressure applied to gas and breaks?
