Here's the low down. I went in for my 2 week appointment today and the doctor exrayed my leg. Instead of putting me in a boot now, (like he had said he would do 2 weeks ago) he is having me stay in a cast for 3 more weeks. He was only going to have it be 2 weeks, but since he'll be on vacation the week inbetween Christmas and NewYears, he just went ahead and made it 3. Wasn't that nice of him?!?
He said 3 more weeks of NO Weight on my leg. Then he'll put me in a boot and I'll be able to move it some and do "some" weight bearing. He said it will be about 6 weeks from now that I'll be full weight bearing on my leg. He will release me to drive after the boot, but before full weight bearing...probably in 4 weeks.
I didn't take the news very well at first. I think I was just a little overwhelmed, but as a good friend of mine said "I'll just say it for you, This sucks!"

I wish I knew! I need to get up and check out what we have here that might get my interest. But I'm thinking it's not Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy!
