Coming/Going

Ever get the feeling that you aren't sure if you are coming or going? I was just recapping mentally our schedule since the middle of July. Check this out.

July 15-16 we went camping. July 22-25 I was out of town to St. Louis. July 29-Aug 2 I was out of town to St. Louis.

Aug 6th weekend we were home. Aug. 13th weekend Dash was out of town for Rangers. Aug 20th we were out of town helping dash's dad move. Aug 27 we were home.

Sept 3 and 4th Dash's dad was here to visit. We also had homegroup that Sunday. On the 9th of September my brother-in-law came into town for the Chiefs game that weekend and stayed a night with us. That Sunday Dash taught his first SS lesson for the quarter and left afterwards for the game, I had a couple friends over for some "girl time". The following weekend we went out of town (camping!) This past weekend was the infamous PowWow for Dash. His brother came into town last Tues am,for this, and left tonight.

This weekend Jadee and the boys might come to visit/help make chili :)! We each have things planned for Friday night and Saturday we're helping someone move...then Sat. night chili cooking and Sunday is the BIG day. The weekend of the 8th we have HomeGroup to make up for the week we're missing from Ranger Days. The weekend of the 13th dash is off to NTC. My folks have mentioned that they want to try to come see us sometime in October!

We meet ourselves coming and going. I just know that it's a good thing we have jobs to help us keep some sanity/schedule to our lives! Wild how we can go weeks without much of anything happening and then months of crazy schedules like this! At this rate it's going to be 2006 and I'm going to look back and wonder what happened to 2005? It's flying by that's for sure.

Life can definately get crazy when you have to go out of town on the weekends. We heard about the Rangers flat tire on the way back from Pow-wow at church Sunday night. What a bummer!

yeah, it made for a later night. I think it scared everyone since it ripped a hole in the van and busted the fuel intake line. Chan told his uncle when we picked him up that "Yeah that bus is old. It's been here since we have been here, maybe longer!" It's funny to hear a kids perspective!

There are few things better in life than kicking back after an extended time of craziness. I hope you get that opportunity.

dash pointed out last night that he was sure I would have someone over on the weekends we don't have things planned for yet! So I guess I have adapted to being busy!

It looks like you guys are living a normal life. It would be nice to be able to kick back and relax, but who has time for that?

Well we usually (or use to) have time to kick back and relax. I am not willing to give into giving that up just yet. I do not mind being busy but time to relax gives me the availability to be spontaneous to.

I realize that everyone is busy and we make our own schedules. I am in no way complaining about mine just observing. Life is what you make it.

Well, I guess that is one thing I learned being so ill this summer....I LOVE taking life at a slower pace. And even staying in at home with my kids.

So, T, did we do a "Freaky Friday" switch????? LOL!

BTW, I love you guys dearly, but I as so glad to stay home and rest. :-)
