I don't like to watch commercials, so I don't watch them anymore---but I remember some great one liners/jingles from them growing up....here are a few:

"The best part of waking up, is Folgers in your cup" I noticed that they have played the commercial from the '80's recently. Peter comes home for Christmas and the sister comes down the stairs and they make coffee for their parents.
Marlboro man is an icon. On the new reality show with Tommy Hilfiger, he mentioned that just last night. It's an icon that does not change with trends. The assignment was for the participants to shoot a pic to create an image that would be a lasting ad icon. Interesting you posted on this topic!

most of these commercials are from when i was a kid. with pvr, I can fast forward through commercials and I usually do. As a kid I LOVED commercials!
