Keep it Simple, Keep it Real. I loved growing up on a "dirt road" It's awesome to live on a farm where you can take long walks and soak up all of God's creation. Nothing in the world is better then being on the farm and having nothing to do but "sit on the porch with God."
It's Quiet... It's Peaceful... It's Simple... It's Real

My weekend
Went to Indiana. Saw my family. Surprised my mom (kinda). Didn't sleep. Over ate. Laughed. Cried. My weekend.
I believe that this is the least amount of words that you have ever used to tell a story. : ) Are you trying something new? Did you use all of your words up over the weekend? How did you kinda surprise your mom? Did she find out ahead of time?
oh Golden...I'll try to keep it brief, but the truth is there is so much to the answers to your question it was just easier to cut it down to the "blog" that became!
first, it was fun to do something new, have to keep your readers interested!
second, yes, I talked a lot this weekend, not that anyone listened!
third, yes--mom found out before she got to my sisters. apparently during the chaos of the morning she and dad got into an argument and he blurted it all out! *(way to go dad.)
But over all, there were good times and not so good and I love my family---but am glad to be home---in Kansas!
Yes, there is such a thing as too much family time, much as we love them. Dar heard a quote this weekend that was funny, "Friends are God's way of apologizing for your relatives." Ha!
