McDonald's

So, why would a sane person go to McDonald's with two 2 year olds, 2 five year olds, and a six year old? Okay, so I'm not sane. I wanted to treat some of the kids I watch. I had the right number for travel capacity in my van. I had a small amount of cash. I had opportunity. So, I ventured out with the five of them.

Have you ever been to a McD at noon? It can be busy. Try a Mc D with the best play land in the area. Try it right when you have 2 buses of jr high/high schoolers pull in AND a preschool van load.

I have to give my kids credit. They all stayed with me. They took time to enjoy seeing more people in a Mc D than they've ever seen! They then proceeded to the play land together and obeyed all the rules that we went over in the van. (Which was basically ---if you want to stay and play you stay together.) So, as I watched them for an hour run in circles climbing up one set of platforms down and back up again....counting everytime---1, 2, 3, 4, 5....(almost 5 everytime, occasionally one or two had gotten left behind!) I realized it really wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, seeing how crowded it was. They had fun and got tired and I got to practice counting! BTW, white it great. two of them had bright white shirts on, (one of which was my son---who doesn't have anything white and bright usually.) They showed up great and were easy to spot!

McDonald's---still lovin' it!

This sounds like a day I would never forget...and not necessarily in a good way. So cool that you enjoy a them and can see the good in a crazy moment!

I have been to Mc D's at noon. I always feel for that mom that has brought many children with her. Sounds like you have it altogether though!

McD's Playland is equal to Chuck E Cheese!! The only difference is that I get to play Skeeball at CEC! Oh yeah...and the kids can't get out the door either...so you don't have to sit and count kids...just tally your own Skeeball score! =D
